How a week works

Monday

We cook.

One batch, in a real kitchen. Meat braised, rice cooked soft, vegetables roasted and folded in so they keep their color. Cooled the same day.

Tuesday

We portion.

Seven pouches, weighed for your dog and labeled with the name, the day and the batch. Four go in the cooler fresh. Three go in frozen, on blue labels, for the back half of the week.

Wednesday

They eat.

We swap the cooler on your porch. Seven pouches in, last week's cooler out. You do not have to be home. Friday at six we text: blue pouches to the fridge tonight.

What you'll see

The bowl first. Then the yard. Then the coat.

Week 1

Transition.

Half fresh, half current food, using the topper we include. Most dogs finish the bowl by day three.

Week 2

Clean bowls.

Full fresh. Smaller, firmer stools because more of the food is being used, not passed.

Week 4

Energy and coat.

Owners usually report the coat first, then a dog that asks for the walk instead of being asked.

Typical experience with fresh diets; every dog is different. Not a medical claim.

Proof, until the reviews come in

Yellow label, eat it this week. Blue label, it goes in the freezer on Wednesday and all three move to the fridge Friday night. One move a week, and we text you Friday at six to say so. The dog's name, the day and the batch number are on every pouch, so nobody has to read a card.

The Clean Bowl Guarantee

Feed it for 14 days. If your dog won't eat it, or you don't see a difference in the bowl, the coat, or the yard, tell us and we refund every dollar. Keep the food.

We can make that promise because we cook 600 pounds a week, not 600 tons, and two bulldogs eat it first.

The Wednesday Guarantee

If we miss your delivery day, that week is free. No asking.

Are we on your road yet?

Put in your zip and we'll tell you straight. If you're just outside the line, we'll add you to the list for the next route.

Step two

Tell us about the dog.

A $25 deposit holds a founding spot. It comes off your first week, and it comes back to you if we don't launch your town.

Deposit is collected on the next screen in the live version. First week is charged the day it's cooked.
Spot held.

We'll text you the launch week for your route. First delivery lands on a Wednesday.

Questions we actually get

Do I have to be home on Wednesday?

No. We leave the cooler on the porch and take last week's back. It holds cold through the evening.

What if my dog won't eat it?

Fourteen days, every dollar back, keep the food. That's the Clean Bowl Guarantee and it is the whole policy.

How long does it keep?

Red-label pouches are fresh and good for four days in the fridge. Blue-label pouches arrive frozen; move all three to the fridge Friday night (we text you) and they're ready for Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. We don't use preservatives, so we don't pretend cooked meat lasts a week in the fridge.

Is this a complete diet?

Yes, for adult dogs. Both recipes are formulated by a veterinary nutritionist to AAFCO adult maintenance profiles and lab-tested for the guaranteed analysis on the pouch. Puppy and all-life-stage versions are next.

How is this different from The Farmer's Dog?

Theirs is cooked in a plant, frozen, and shipped in dry ice every few weeks. Ours is cooked a day and a half before it reaches you and hand delivered by us. Four days fresh, three frozen, in one cooler. Same price range.

Where are the ingredients from?

Human-grade meat from the same suppliers restaurants use, and produce from Adams County farms when it's in season. Every pouch has a cook date and a batch number.

We cook Monday. Tell us by Sunday.

One batch a week, and we only make what's claimed. Get your dog on the list and the first cooler lands this Wednesday.
